Product Overview
To heat up the Hamilton Beach electric kettle, simply fill the unit with water up to 64 ounces and place it in the base. When the water is boiling, the power button pops up, the green light goes off and the heating unit shuts down. There is a distinct pop when the power button jumps out.
This safety system prevents burning at the bottom of the kettle and also avoids any over boiling spillage. The lid pops open by pressing the release level on the handle. By pressing a release button on the lid, the lid can be removed for cleaning or filling. The user can fit the whole hand inside the kettle for easy cleaning.
